ABOUT
The Art Market and Collecting cluster was created in 2017 at the Institute of Art History, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. It intends to build a research network that will articulate the work of its members, promote cooperation and data sharing on the art and collecting market in Portugal, Spain and Brazil. With an international team, the cluster hosts the TIAMSA Subcommittee Art Market and Collecting: Portugal, Spain and Brazil. The aim is to confront perspectives on these markets, their agents, observe their relationship between the local and the global markets, identify the particularities that characterize them and observe the impact they produce on the global art market.
